Tourist site #1 - The Las Vegas Welcome sign

Jamie went out to the see the famous "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada" sign. The sign greets visitors entering Las Vegas from the south end of the Las Vegas Boulevard (also known as the Las Vegas strip). He chatted up some tourists while waiting in line to take a picture.

Cookies and Tikis

Jamie's been staying close to the house lately and loves exploring his holiday home.

Today he assisted with baking delicious chocolate chip cookies.

After the cookies were enjoyed by all, he relaxed with the Polynesian Tikis

Mountains and Desert

Jamie checked out the north end of town and got to see a little bit of open desert and mountain just north of I-215. It was a nice day, but since he isn't used to the heat and dry climate, we only stopped to take a quick snapshot.

A Las Vegas Tradition - The Buffet

Jamie hung out with host stuffies Bunny, Domo, and TravelBear while watching some American telly.

Jamie went out to lunch at the Feast Buffet at the Aliante Station Hotel and Casino. He enjoyed food from the Chinese, Mexican, Salad, Soup, and Dessert stations.

Jamie arrives in America!

Jamie arrived in America on a pleasant summer day. He was anxious to get out of the packet after such a long journey. Fortunately, his paperwork was ready for examination and he had no problems.
